Welcome to Poor Richard's Sound Design. This is a new idea in Theatre Sound Design, that is aimed towards Theatre companies and organizations, that otherwise might not have enough resources to hire a Sound Designer for their productions. Although I feel strongly that most productions can gain from having a legitimate Sound Design, it is unfortunate that many theatre companies can not afford to hire a professional Sound Designer. Some productions may end up with no sound at all, or in some cases the sound requirements may end up as the responsibility of one of the other members of a production team.
In order to help some of the arts organizations overcome this issue, I have started Poor Richard's Sound Design Service. Below I've listed some of the ways in which I feel this service can be used. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list, if you have some specific needs, please contact us, and we can see how to best assist you with your sound and audio needs.
